Nail Clipping
Your dogs nails will be clipped to an appropriate length and the fur on their feet tidied.
Ear Plucking / Cleaning
We will pluck excess hair from ears as required with certain breeds such as Bichon Frise, Poodle, Shih Tzues, Maltese, Westie, Schnauzer and Lhasa and clean with specialist cleanser.
We will clean ears with specialist cleanser as required with certain breeds as spaniels and bloodhounds.
De-Matting / Brushing
Your dogs coat will be thoroughly de-matted and brushed before bathing to remove any knots or problem areas. We will also check for underlying skin issues or other problems. If the coat is badly matted or in very poor condition an additional charge will be made but this will be discussed when your dog first visits K9 Curls.
Bathing
Your dog will be bathed in good quality shampoo and conditioner as appropriate for their coat type. If your dog has any skin conditions or sensitive skin we have specialist products available so please advise at the time of booking.
Drying
Your dog will be thoroughly dried with a professional dog dryer to keep their coat in top condition.
Clipping
Your dog will be clipped to an appropriate length as required depending on breed and coat type and of course owners requirements.
Scissoring
Your dogs coat will be shaped as required depending on breed and coat type and of course owners requirements.
Hand Stripping
This will only be carried out on dogs with appropriate coat types and only if they have had it done previously.
Collection Service *
We offer a free collection and * return service with a 3 mile radius. We also offer this service over 3 miles for a small additional charge depending on distance.
Doggy Sitting
At work all day and don't have time to get your dog groomed? Why not drop your pooch off on your way to work, we will have them groomed and ready so you can collect them on your way home. This is available for an additional charge of £5.
